On your first consultation we will take your full case history and also assess your painful condition/injury. Once we have identified the root-cause of your painful condition or injury we will address this by treating the appropriate area. Your treatment is typically carried out through light clothing and is a hands-on approach. The pressure applied can range from light to deep pressure. However, patient comfort is paramount and the amount of pressure used is determined by your age and the body-type. For example, the pressure used on an elderly client would be much lighter than the pressure used on a strong rugby player in his twenties. In addition, some light work may also be done on your joints if necessary. You may also be given some home-exercises/home-care advice to help your recovery.
